Portrait check list

BEFORE PICTURE DAY, PLEASE REVIEW THIS CHECK LIST FOR THE BEST RESULTS

  1. Light Makeup. To help reduce shine on your child's face, please use light makeup for picture day. Please follow your studios makeup guidelines for your child's recital and dress rehearsal. 

  2. Please Remove: Fake tattoos, bracelets & necklaces, Band Aids, Glitter on face, etc.

  3. Proper Dance Shoes. Bring each pair of shoes that goes with the recital costume.

There is NO session fee (aka sitting fee) to take your photos.
Prices for digital images vary depending on studio. Prices start at $20 for prints.
You are able to view and select your images before purchasing.

FAQ
  • Where are the dance portraits photographed?
    All dance portraits will take place at your studio unless otherwise communicated.
  • When do I order my pictures?
    Pictures will be available to view and order no more than two weeks after picture day or on your studios determined release date. After photos are released, you will have two weeks to place your order. After two weeks, the gallery will no longer be accessible.
  • Is there portrait day makeup?
    Portrait day makeup is NOT offered onsite. You are responsible for doing your own makeup at home. We suggest to wear light makeup as too much makeup can create an undesired amount of shine on your child’s face.
  • How many dance costumes can my child be photographed in?
    1-3 unless studio decides otherwise.
  • Can I bring my camera and take pictures?
    No, bringing your own camera is prohibited as it creates a distraction for those being photographed.
  • Is there a session fee?
    No, there is no session fee.
  • When will I receive my order?
    Once your order is placed, it will take 2-3 days for your order to be printed and shipped. Once shipped, your package should arrive in 2-5 days. Digital images will immediately be emailed to you once order is placed. If not found, check your junk mail or download folder.
  • How many poses do I get to choose from?
    Depending on how much time your studio has for picture day, you will have 2-5 poses to choose from.
  • Can you photograph more than 1 child together?
    Yes, if you would like your children photographed together, please let me know ahead of time.
  • My order was damaged, missing prints, or not correct?
    Please contact me ASAP and I will help you fix your problem!
  • Where can I view and order pictures?
    Your studio will send out an email with a link to a photo gallery where you can view and purchase pictures.

  • 30 high-resolution edited digital images (your choice) with print release (with the option to purchase more later)

  • Mobile app

(keep in mind that driving between locations and changing outfits are apart of the session time)
